To charter OCEANA is to experience a piece of yachting history. Designed by the legendary Jon Bannenberg, she was updated in 2015 and is immaculately presented. With plentiful options for both private reflection and convivial gatherings, and unique features like an observation lounge, her 3,000nm range and zero speed stabilisers guarantee you'll cover impressive distances in absolute comfort.
Start your day with yoga session on the sun deck or a workout on the gym equipment, followed by breakfast in the main deck’s interior dining area. For a more low-key start to the day, an intimate brunch on the main deck aft provides fantastic views of the surroundings thanks to the flanking glass panels.
The beautifully arranged sun deck is sure to be a hive of activity throughout the day, with its large jacuzzi, wide choice of lounging areas and shaded table settings. For a moment of sanctuary, head to the master suite’s private observation lounge with its superb sheltered vistas, curl up with a good book in the main deck’s second lounge or enjoy a coffee on the nearby private terrace amidships.
A delicious lunch is served family style in the shade of the upper deck aft, then get ready to explore the local area with a jetski safari or snorkel expedition to a hidden grotto. To test your balance, the stand up paddleboards await, or pick up the pace with the waterskis, wakeboards and inflatables towed behind the powerful tender.
All that activity is enough to give you an appetite, so afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes is served in the main deck lounge, with large array of cosy sofas for everyone to sit on and share their favourite moments of the day so far.
OCEANA’s striking exterior is in contrast to the elegant Hamptons beach house feel of her interior, which is instantly relaxing. She accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, including an upper deck master suite with adjoining single cabin, walk in wardrobe and observation lounge. On the lower deck, guest cabins are bright and calming, comprising a VIP suite, two doubles and a twin cabin with pullman berth.
Having enjoyed an early dinner complete with mocktail-making class, the children watch a movie in the sky lounge, while the adults partake in sundowners and a delightful dinner on the upper deck aft, with spectacular views of the nearby port town’s lights twinkling in the water of the bay. Sometimes a timeless classic is simply impossible to beat.
