A charming 38m (125ft) tri-deck yacht from the boutique Hakvoort shipyard, SOPRANO has a first-class pedigree, an exceptionally high standard of finish inside and out, and her own unique sense of style. The sundeck has a raised jacuzzi pool up front, flanked by generous sunpads, and a snug, comfortable seating area aft, with ample shade when required from a canvas bimini above. Solid mahogany capping rails all round lend an authentic touch of traditional yachting style.

The upper aft deck is mostly devoted to dining, with a round table tucked snugly beneath the sundeck overhang, but there’s plenty of space for sun loungers (and yoga sessions) astern. Sliding doors lead into the beautifully finished sky lounge, which has a distinctly tropical modern-classic feel. The covered companionways of her sidedecks, on this level and also the main deck below, reduce the glare of direct sunlight while the big, curvy picture windows along both sides give you sweeping views of the seascape outside.

The main deck aft makes best use of her elegant canoe stern – a feature that’s seldom found on a modern yacht like this one – with a sociable arrangement of banquette seats around a triangular table in cool, deep shade. It’s a great location for larger gatherings, perhaps hosting friends from another yacht on board. Stepping into the main deck lounge, you enter an impressively bright, elegant living room with an open plan layout and. The formal dining area up forward is nicely separated from the lounge.

The master suite is a stand-out feature: spacious, bright and beautifully finished, with a sofa and a study desk flanking the king size bed, plus a lovely traditional en suite bathroom. There’s also a big VIP suite on the lower deck, plus two generously sized twin-bed cabins – one with an extra pullman bunk – all decorated in the same classic luxury style.

She carries a pair of RIB tenders plus waterskis and a wakeboard, paddleboards and inflatable tows, plus an Olympic Finn class sailing dinghy, which will delight any keen sailors in your group.
