Back on the yacht charter scene after a major programme of refit and upgrade works in 2024, SUR LA MER 44m (143ft) is a spacious and stylish tri-deck vessel from the Benetti shipyard, which is renowned for its clever use of space. Designed for up to 12 guests, she has a five-cabin layout and an opulent interior finish with contrasting light and dark hardwoods, comfortable modern furniture and an inviting, soothing vibe.

One of her stand-out features is the exceptional master suite, up forward on the main deck level. Here you’ll have 180-degree panoramic views from the main cabin, with its grand sweep of wrap-around windows, and a private outside terrace on the foredeck with its own jacuzzi. The suite includes a long sofa in the main cabin, a separate anteroom with another sofa and a study desk, and a stylish en suite bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower.

Another great feature is the spacious sun deck. This has an extra-large jacuzzi pool, a snug and sociable nest of observation seating up front that converts into a big day bed, plus a sit-up bar, two tables with armchairs, sunloungers and a shade awning above. There’s also a seating area on the foredeck, a nice lounge-dining area on the main deck aft, and an open-air lounge on the upper aft deck that flows seamlessly into the magnificent formal dining room.

The main deck lounge is an expansive, comfortable lounge with two separate seating areas – a sociable L-shaped arrangement of sofas facing aft and a TV lounge area facing forward. There’s also a self-playing piano in here. The skylounge above is a cocktail bar that flows into the formal dining room, with sofas on both sides.

The lower deck cabins include two large VIP doubles with twin sinks in their en suite bathrooms, plus a double and a twin – both of which have an extra pullman bunk.

She comes with a chase boat as well as a tender: a 12m (40ft) Boston Whaler powerboat plus a 5.5m (19ft) jet RIB. Her watersports inventory is extensive: there’s an eFoil board plus two jetskis, two SeaBobs, a Jungle Joe floating playground for kids, plus paddleboards, a wakeboard and waterskis, fishing and snorkelling gear, and an inflatable tow.
