If you’re looking to charter a large classic yacht with a world class pedigree, SYNTHESIS 66 should be on your radar. This 42-metre (137ft) elegant beauty from the elite Feadship stable is in fine fettle following a major refit and refurbishment just two years ago, with a brand new bridge deck design and a host of subtle upgrades throughout.

Her graceful exterior look and style is just one of the highlights she offers. Traditional features like the slanted mullions of her covered companionways and the concave curve of her elegant bow (which is back in vogue nowadays, by the way) give her a distinctive touch of class.
There’s no compromise on living space, inside or out – witness the vast and fabulous bridge deck with its brand new jacuzzi, sunpads and lounge, two large pop-up TV screens, twin dining tables and full cocktail bar, for example. On the top deck, aft of the funnel is an open-air gym where you can work out in style with a cool sea breeze and commanding views; up forward there’s observation seating with the very best view on board. The main deck aft, meanwhile, is a chic and comfortable, relaxing and well shaded lounge. A new, extended bathing platform gives easy access in and out of the sea.
The main deck saloon is notably large and beautifully finished in a clean, simple and timeless style. She retains her original joinery and panelling, made of solid teak half a century ago and still immaculate today. There’s a games table, an inviting lounge and beyond a teak-and-glass dividing wall, an elegant dining room. The separate bar is another gem of a classic mid-century feature.
She’s designed to host 10 guests in five cabins with eight crew at your service. Up front on the main deck is the master suite, which again has been subtly upgraded with great care to preserve its original charm. It’s a bright, fresh and stylish full-beam cabin with big windows on both sides and a rather lovely en suite bathroom. There’s also a VIP suite with a private lounge and capacious closets, two twin-bed cabins and two that convert between doubles and twins.
She comes with a 12-metre (38ft) high-performance chase boat as well as a regular RIB, and carries a good range of toys. From jet skiing, flyboarding and jetsurfing to underwater exploration with SeaBobs, plus wakeboarding, trampolining, fishing, snorkelling and inflatable tows, there’s lots of fun when the anchor goes down.
