Brand new yachts for sale.

Published 11 March 2021

Whether you are looking at taking your first step towards yacht ownership or wanting to upgrade to a state of the art new yacht, we have an unmissable selection of yachts due for delivery very soon. You could be cruising this summer! Eleonora Pitasso, our Shipyard Relationship Coordinator and Sales Broker, talks us through the yachts closest to delivery.

Eleonora Pitasso

'Many shipyards build series or semi-custom yachts on spec and that gives potential owners several advantages,' says Monaco-based Eleonora.

'First, it's a tried and tested platform,' she adds. 'All the naval architecture, engineering and exterior design has been done and any issues have been identified and ironed out a long time ago. That's your assurance that this is a turnkey, step-aboard-and-sail proposition, you know it's going to be a smooth process.

'For even more reassurance you can commission our New Construction team to scrutinise the spec and inspect the build to make improvements where they can be made.

'Second, as the interiors are the last element in fitting out, you can commission your preferred designer to create bespoke interior design scheme, which makes the yacht personal to you and your tastes. The yacht is uniquely yours.'

'Third is the timeframe,' she continues. 'If you were to custom build your own yacht from scratch, you would have total control of everything but it takes time. There may be a year or two of design, engineering and the tendering process before steel is even cut, then a three- to four-year build before you take delivery. Many of these semi-custom yachts will deliver within 12 months, shortcutting the route to ownership of a new yacht considerably.'

'If you want to enjoy cruising on a state of the art new yacht and you don't want to wait for several years, buying a series or semi-custom yacht is a great solution.'

Here we present a selection of six yachts between 66-44.5m, most due for delivery within 12 months. Due to our close working relationship with these shipyards, we have priority access to many more so whatever you are looking for, we are best positioned to find it.
