4 April 2016

The Palma Superyacht Show (28 April – 2 May) is once again set to wow as 65 superyachts confirm for the fourth edition of the show.

Launched in 2012, the Palma show has largely been dubbed as the Mediterranean season opener attracting a large proportion of the world’s most impressive superyachts above 24m. This year, and rather unusually the split between sail and motor reaches 60:40 respectively with many more yachts vying for space. According to Jane Thompson of the Palma Superyacht Show ‘… both on and off water spaces are fully booked with a waiting list’ proving that this year is set to be better than any other. Mallorca has already become one of the premier hotspots for luxury yachts in Europe for charter and sailing: and in the field of refit and maintenance, Mallorca remains one of the leading destinations in Europe.

For Burgess, the Palma Superyacht Show is the ideal backdrop to showcase a range of yachts both for sale and charter. The Burgess team have been in attendance for the past three years and confirm that the Palma Superyacht Show attracts quality visitors and yacht owners. This year, Burgess is currently finalising its yacht line up however the Palma office along with the company’s team of brokers from around the world will be on hand to discuss purchasing or chartering a superyacht.
