Immensely capable but equally luxurious, she’s designed to host groups of up to 10 overnight guests on board in a five-cabin layout, with a core crew of five at your service plus the skipper of her 12m (40ft) chase boat, which is a great asset for any yacht charter holiday. She’s impressively equipped in all respects, from state-of-the art hi-fi, satellite TV and VSAT broadband internet, to the powerful Naiad stabilisers that smooth her motion on the water at all times, whether she’s anchored or on the move.
BELUGA’s interior is beautifully finished and furnished in a clean and tasteful modern classic style, with fine craftsmanship throughout. Her guest accommodation includes an L-shaped master suite with a full-beam main cabin on the main deck level, which includes a private office for two people. The en suite master bathroom is fully clad in impressive stonework and has twin sinks, a bathtub and a separate shower.
The other four guest cabins, all on the lower deck, are two doubles with luxurious en suite facilities and a pair of twins with extra pullman bunks, which also have private en suite bathrooms. The quality of finish in all of these cabins is superb.
The main deck lounge is a tranquil, open plan living room with a relaxing lounge, a formal dining area, and an easy flow out onto the open-air main deck aft. One level up, the sky lounge is a cocktail lounge with a modern nautical vibe and design classic seating around a coffee table.
Her outside spaces include a comfortable lounge-dining area on the main deck aft; seats on the foredeck with steps leading up to more seating on the Portuguese bridge; and a very large upper aft deck. Here there’s a shaded dining table and sofa, and further aft, armchairs and daybeds in full sun. Her sun deck has a jacuzzi pool, a sociable arrangement of settees and ample shade from an awning. Guests with a head for heights can also climb up to the lofty crow’s nest – which is ideal for whale watching – for a gull’s eye view.
BELUGA’s watersports inventory is excellent. Her chase boat is fully equipped for diving and game fishing expeditions and she also carries a RIB. There’s a Waverunner jetski, two new SeaBobs, scuba gear and a dive compressor for unlimited tank fills, plus paddleboards, kayaks and more.
