Your master suite floods with morning light through large windows on each side. The sleek finishes, cream upholstered walls and mirrored surfaces add to feeling that you have woken up in a boutique hotel. Welcome the day with morning yoga on the sun deck and the anchorage stretching out around you as you balance mind and body.
It’s just a step down to your al fresco breakfast on the upper aft deck. The large table sits young and old in your charter party of 12. The cabins on the lower deck continue the chic look with white walls and pop art, plus beds can be made up as queens or twins – ideal for a family group. Over pancakes, fresh fruit and coffee the day ahead is planned and excitement bubbles over.
The children want nothing more than to leap into the water from the inflatable jungle gym that the crew have set up for them astern. With nine crew members aboard, you know that they are looked after. The beach club is open so you can go to watch their antics, and think about which of the toys you’ll take for a spin yourself. The SeaBobs will take you on an underwater ride, or try your skills on jetskis and waterskis.
After lunch a fishing trip goes out with the 10m (31ft) Novurania chase boat to try their luck with the trolling rods and bring back their catch for dinner. Others have decided to take the restful option of a dip in the jacuzzi, followed by soaking up the sun on the sun pads or using the Turkish steam room.
Thoughtful design is evident at every turn: a balcony drops down off the sky lounge, the main lounge has glass walls that open onto walkaround decks, and there’s a private nook on the foredeck for when you want a little time out. So while your guests are happy entertaining themselves, you and your partner find this romantic spot.
As you dress for dinner the chef is preparing a fine dining menu. The children are already snuggled up to watch a movie on the sun deck's outside screen, so the grown-ups gather for a sundowner on the main aft deck sofas. As the sun sets over the water, cocktail in hand you look at the contented faces around you – this is the perfect holiday afloat.
