The master suite is privately situated in the forward part of the main deck, so you are certain of peace and quiet in your suite. The morning wakes you with the sun glimpsing through to your king sized bed. The plush carpet is soft underfoot as you slip on something loose to head out to breakfast – although breakfast in bed is cosy option.
Breakfast is served al fresco on the main deck aft. Some of your guests have taken an early swim and are drying off in the sun on the swimming platform astern – they are certainly ready for coffee and stacks of pancakes!
The day holds so many adventures that it’s as well you have several days to try them all. REBEL’s 10.8m (35.6ft) Everglades tenders is taking out a fishing trip - Caribbean seas are rich with tuna and other big fish to challenge the experienced big game fisherman.
Others have decided to brush off their waterskiing skills so the crew are ready with the 5.3m (17.6ft) Zodiac Pro RIB and all the equipment. Inflatable toys are fun to tow and the children have earmarked that game for later.
The tropical waters are full of multicoloured fish and rays so snorkelling is a joy, and it is easy to master the technique. Make the time for a family trip to snorkel off a white sand islet – who knows what you may see – and you will bring back memories for a lifetime.
As the heat rises, a shaded lunch is served on the upper deck where the light breezes waft through. The sky lounge and bar offer an air conditioned retreat for anyone who wants to relax after lunch.
On the sun deck, a jacuzzi and massive sun pads beckon. Then after sunbathing the hardtop and bimini awnings create a welcome patch of shade over the sit-up bar. This is the spot to watch any sports games on TV.
The lounge and dining room are a cool haven of dark wood and light fabrics, chrome and glass. The evening finds you all refreshed and dressed for a low-key dinner – but first there are sundowners to sip… This is barefoot luxury at its best.
