Following her highly publicised extensive 2016 refit, NERO has re-entered the global charter market under the management of Burgess.

The 90.1m superyacht was originally inspired by JP Morgan’s Corsair IV and was delivered in 2008. She boasted incredible sleek lines with a classic exterior reminiscent of the golden age in yachting. Her beauty won industry recognition with the Best Motor Yacht Over 75M at the 2009 ShowBoats Design Awards (now named Boat International Design & Innovation Awards). In 2014, she was sold and by the end of 2016, had undergone one of the most successful refits the industry had seen.

Keeping her exterior classic elegance, the appointed designer, Laura Pomponi from Luxury Projects, improved on the original designs and quality of the vessel. Inside brass fixtures were swapped for contemporary chrome, the colour palette took its cue from the hues of the ocean and fashionable accessories were brought in to update and lighten the yacht’s look.

One of the most interesting factors that determined design elements of the all-new NERO was charterers’ comments. As a highly experienced and popular charter yacht, NERO had a catalogue of suggestions to improve on charters. Aspects such as more outdoor seating and extra shade on the sun deck have been added, but the original six dining areas were deemed too indulgent and therefore some of these have been taken away. Casual bar areas have been added, which is another ideal charter element. Guests can meet for a drink before settling down for dinner.

State-of-the-art technology ensures the comfort level of guests has been optimised plus the addition of a full water toy chest means this already popular charter yacht is now one of the most talked about yachts on the scene. Guest’s will love her 5.7m resistance pool, large jacuzzi, gym and both interior and exterior cinema projector screens.

In total, NERO can hold 12 guests across six cabins while cruising and will be chartering the beautiful waters of the Caribbean this winter. Starting off her season in Antigua, at the industry event, The Antigua Charter Show.
