SCINTILLA MARIS is for sale

Published 11 April 2024

The 45.6m (149.6ft) SCINTILLA MARIS is a lovingly converted ocean-going trawler with a RINA-classed thickened steel hull, outstanding seakeeping and IMO Tier III-compliant hybrid propulsion giving her a 9,000nm range with low emissions, noise and vibration. Built by Damen Maaskant in 1988 and converted by the same Dutch yard in 2023, her 499GT of contemporary Vripack interiors are naturally lit by 30 decklights.

The main deck, peppered with skylights, is the yacht's entertainment hub

During an extensive four-year rebuild, SCINTILLA MARIS was stripped down to bare steel, fully modernised and rebuilt in the owner’s vision. Maintaining her original exterior lines shows off her heritage, while a step into the interior and technical spaces reveals a fully modernised expedition yacht capable of extensive autonomous cruising.

Excxeptional views and open-air dining on the sun deck

SCINTILLA MARIS delivers incredible views from her sun deck. Underneath the protective hardtop, there is an al fresco dining area complete with BBQ station and full-service bar.

Sun lounge seating on the bridge deck aft

On the bridge deck there is a heated Portuguese bridge in front of the wheelhouse with a thermostatic seating area that uses heat recovered from the generators, and aft there are teak-laid banquettes facing fore and aft.

Midships there is easy access to the water

Midships on the main deck the hull plating was reconfigured to provide direct access to the water on both port and starboard sides, giving guests an intimate connection with the ocean and ease of access to and from the water.
