Begin your day with a perfectly made flat white at the bar of the sky lounge while you catch up on the day’s news before everyone comes together for breakfast on the nearby upper deck aft. The captain suggests exploring the shoreline on JAGUAR’s 37ft Intrepid tender, which has space for everyone in a comfortable setting. After a trip ashore to a local port town or historical attraction, those with a penchant for action join the deck crew to try out the yacht’s wide selection of water based activities, including the jetsurf motorised surfboard, jetskis, scuba diving and paddleboards. A specialist watersports tender is ideal for waterskiing, wakeboarding and towable inflatables.

After a busy morning, everyone is ready for a delicious lunch served on the sun deck, with some of the best views on board. Then why not unwind for a couple of hours, taking turns between the large jacuzzi pool and neighbouring expanse of sun pads. Curl up with the children on the sky lounge’s sofas to take in the latest animated movie, with warm popcorn and freshly made mocktails prepared by the crew. Or work off your lunch in the master suite’s private exercise lounge with a selection of weights and cardio equipment.

JAGUAR’s understated François Zuretti decor is the epitome of modern elegance, with warm tones creating a homely setting. She sleeps up to 12 guests in six bright and spacious cabins, including a split level master suite and upper deck VIP suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. The master suite has its own TV lounge and gym area, while there are stabilisers to be used at anchor as well as underway, providing uninterrupted comfort.

Sundowners are served at the bar on the sun deck, alongside a creative selection of canapes, allowing you to take in the spectacular seascape views before you descend to the upper deck aft for an al fresco dinner of stunning modern European cuisine, topped off with a nightcap in the sky lounge, which has the air of a members’ club thanks to atmospheric lighting and music.

The islands of Gan, Maandhoo, Kadhoo, and Fonadhoo are linked by a causeway 11 miles (18km) long, making up the longest stretch of dry land in the Maldives. Gan has some unique features such as a freshwater lake (Red Lake, named for its red color from the tree leaves falling into it) as well as mounds known as Hawitta from a pre-historic Buddhist time over 600 years ago.

Dhaalu Atoll is famous for its skilled craftsmen, evident in the beautiful mosques with ancient stone carvings. Thor Heyerdahl, a Norwegian adventurer, commented that its mosques had some of the finest masonry he had ever seen.

Alifushi is a local village famous for the art of traditional boat building on the northern part of the atoll. It is a center for imparting the traditional skills of building fishing boats, or ‘dhonis’. The boatyard at Alifushi produces dozens of dhonis every year.
