Codecasa
One of the oldest family-owned superyacht builders in Italy, Codecasa’s foundations date back to 1825 when Giovanni Battista Codecasa became a shipwright in Viareggio.
In 1902, the family established its own shipyard in the area producing sailing, fishing, and military vessels before adding motor yachts to its portfolio in the 1970s.
In 2000, the yard started building large, fast motor yachts, the first unit of which was a 35m constructed entirely in aluminium: the Codecasa 35s.
Still run by the founder’s heirs, today Codecasa specialises in the building of large steel and aluminium yachts up to 72m in length, fast aluminium motor yachts up to 50m, and rescue craft for the Coast Guard. The shipyard is renowned for its very high-quality standards, achieved through strict and constant checks at every production phase.
