Burgess Crew Recruitment collaborates closely with Owners, Owner’s Representatives and Captains to source high-quality crew for your yacht. Our team comprises former superyacht crew members with extensive industry knowledge and onboard experience.
Our Full Recruitment service is a managed, end-to-end solution delivered under Burgess’s MCA MLC Recruitment & Placement certification.
Key activities provided
- Sourcing from an immediate access to a pool of targeted candidates and market mapping
- Vacancies are advertised on the company's website, allowing crew members to apply directly
- Screening and structured shortlisting of candidates
- Once suitable candidates are selected, our team work closely with the captain or relevant person to confirm availability and location
- Interviews are arranged, references checked and certification verified in line with MCA MLC requirements
- Managing offers and providing placement support
- Background checks can be coordinated via third-party providers where required
- Confidentiality is maintained throughout the recruitment process
- Terms and conditions apply and are provided prior to engagement
Service access: - Full Recruitment Service is available to both existing Burgess clients and external yachts
- A signed Engagement Letter is required prior to commencing Full Recruitment services
