VESPER is an impressive 40m (131.2ft) displacement motor yacht, built by Alloy Yachts and delivered in 2009. Constructed with an aluminium hull and superstructure, she features exterior design by Ed Dubois and a sophisticated interior by Donald Starkey. Her extensive outdoor spaces are designed for relaxed cruising and entertaining. The sun deck features a forward flybridge area with forward-facing bench seating and direct access to the wheelhouse, while aft is a hardtop with skylights over a spacious al fresco dining area. A wet bar and BBQ area are positioned further aft, leading to a jacuzzi and generous sunpad area. On the main deck aft, the cockpit offers a formal al fresco dining area beneath a retractable sun awning, complemented by a wet bar conveniently located adjacent to the main deck lounge entrance. VESPER accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, with the majority of the guest accommodation located on the lower deck. The lower deck also incorporates the galley, crew mess and accommodation for seven crew. The owner's suite is located forward on the main deck and is accessed through a private office. It features sofa seating to starboard, a spacious dressing room aft and his-and-hers en suite bathrooms with a shared central shower room. Further aft, the main deck lounge offers a formal dining area forward and a comfortable lounge area aft, with a bistro table and chairs positioned at the entrance from the aft deck.

A side-opening tender garage can provide secure storage for a 5.1m (16.6ft) Williams Dieseljet tender and dive compressor, while the foredeck offers additional stowage for two PWCs, which can be launched and recovered using the deck crane.

Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar C32 engines provide a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. At an economical speed of 10 knots, VESPER offers an impressive range of approximately 3,200 nautical miles and is equipped with zero-speed stabilisers for enhanced comfort both underway and at anchor.
