Monaco

The Monaco Grand Prix is famed for its street circuit winding through the city. Unfortunately, due to the size of the principality and proximity of the track, much of Monte Carlo, including Quai des États-Unis where the desirable track-view berths are positioned, is shut off during practice sessions, qualifying and racing. While this limits land access, once the racing is over, guests can hop ashore and sample Monaco’s world-class restaurants and exclusive after parties.

Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi race contours the Yas Marina circuit, where guests enjoy exclusive access to the marina jetty, pontoons, and the grandstand oasis areas.

Opened in 2009, the circuit was specifically designed with superyachts in mind, wrapping around the marina on three sides and offering plenty trackside and non-trackside berthing opportunities. Designed with Formula 1 in mind, guests can step onto the dock and be in a VIP lounge within minutes. With easy access to the marina jetty, grandstands, and hospitality lounges, this location is one for motorsport purists who want to be immersed in the excitement of the event.

Saudi Arabia

The newest track on the Formula 1 calendar, introduced in 2021, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has quickly become one of the most entertaining races of the season. The course winds up and down the Red Sea coastline, with drivers averaging 155 mph around 27 corners, making this event the pinnacle of sporting spectatorship.

The Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina, which can accommodate yachts up to 120 meters, offer a spectacular venue where yachting and motorsports come together. Charter guests can soak up the atmosphere from the dock or walk straight into the hospitality and sporting venues of the circuit, offering unmatched convenience and atmosphere.

Grand Prix charter destinations

Monaco

The infamous Monaco Grand Prix snakes through the streets of the principality, with streets only just wide enough for the cars and an average lap speed of nearly 100mph, making for nail biting entertainment. The Principality is a year-round must-visit superyacht location, with the Grand Prix being its most sought-after event.

A location that caters for all preferences, you can be at the heart of the action in Port Hercules or escape from the race car ‘whine’ in the more secluded and understated harbour of Fontvieille, valued for its privacy and exclusivity where many of the Monaco-based drivers choose to reside. Known for its vibrant nightlife, Monaco offers everything from world-class dining and visits to the Prince’s Palace to partying the night away with A-list Musicians at Jimmy’z afterparty.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Abu Dhabi has recently become a popular yachting destination for the jet set wanting to escape the monotony of the Mediterranean. Situated in the Persian Gulf, the contemporary metropolis is woven with threads of Bedouin resilience, with a strong culture and heritage ready to explore. Surrounded by 200 natural islands, Abu Dhabi guarantees a vibrant charter experience.

Similarly to Monaco, this UAE-based event is renowned for its post-race hospitality. As part of the entry ticket and marina passes, charter guests are invited to a series of post-race concerts in the Du Arena. A-list acts such as Prince and Beyonce have previously headlined, elevating the nightlife. If subtle luxury is your thing, then escape the crowds for a Falconry exhibition in the desert or dine at Hakkasan in the grounds of the Emirates Palace.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Jeddah is a tale of two cities: a modern, busy and commercial metropolis on one side, and a historic city dating back to the 7th century on the other. The Corniche Circuit is the second-longest course on the F1 circuit and was constructed in a staggering eight months.

The superyacht berths are situated just meters from the track, immersing guests in the excitement of the event. After the racing, the festivities continue: deck parties, fine-dining, and concerts create a magical Arabian night. During the day take time to visit the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Mecca or explore the picturesque streets of Old Jeddah which look straight out of a Disney film.

Situated on the Red Sea, Jeddah boasts some of the best coastlines for water sport, snorkelling or diving, with well-know dive sites like Shipwreck Island and Sharm Obhur offering unforgettable underwater adventures.

Tip three: sit back and relax

Once your charter broker has started the planning process, it’s now time to sit back and relax. Our brokers will work with the superyacht’s crew to create bespoke menus, customise spa treatments, and tailor daily itineraries to your interests – ensuring you make the most out of your experience.
