Emma holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Shipping Management and Business Administration. She completed an internship with Lloyd's Register and previously worked in the shipping industry undertaking responsibilities in logistics, intermodal transportation and more recently as a Maritime Security operator within the special anti-piracy unit in Athens.

Emma was raised in a yachting environment with her father being a Master on board yachts.
