Ewan began his maritime career as a Trinity House Cadet, complementing this with a BSc in Nautical Science. He gained extensive operational experience working on passenger and cargo vessels and successfully obtained Pilot Exemptions for Southampton, Jersey and Guernsey before transitioning to shore-side management. Since coming ashore, Ewan has enjoyed building on his knowledge base, completing a Software Engineering Bootcamp with Edinburgh University.

When he's not working, Ewan enjoys family adventures, cycling, and pursuing his interest in photography.
