Matt has been part of the yachting industry since 2004, building experience across life at sea, yacht sales and commercial leadership. He spent nine years working onboard superyachts as deck crew, where he developed the high standards, attention to detail and work ethic that continue to shape how he approaches business today.

Known for getting things done, Matt combines industry knowledge with a practical, results-focused approach. His experience across both operational and commercial roles gives him a unique perspective on helping clients maximise value while maintaining the standards expected within the yachting sector.

At Burgess, Matt leads Procurement Services, helping clients and crew benefit from stronger purchasing power, trusted supplier relationships and a streamlined procurement process.

Outside work, Matt enjoys field sports and being kept busy by his four dogs.
