She’s also notable for her glorious modern-luxe interior, where a mix of white and dark tones combines with a subtly contrasting palette of textures – light and pale hardwood, gleaming marble and ivory-coloured soft furnishings, expertly curated lighting and a collection of fine art sculptures – to create a living space that is at once spectacular and serene.
The huge master suite is on the upper deck, a tranquil haven for your private relaxation. The suite includes an office, a spa-like double bathroom and a 180° panoramic view of the seascape from the king size double bed. When you awake, slip through the automatic doors and out onto your private open-air terrace to greet the days before meeting the rest of your party for breakfast on the main or upper aft deck, each of which has its own subtly different vibe to suit your mood.
The other six guest cabins include two VIP suites at the front end of the main deck and four cabins on the lower deck – two kings and two convertible twins – all of which have the same style of décor and marble-clad en suite bathrooms, so your family or friends will all feel pampered too.
CALEX has a superb sundeck with a dedicated yoga and workout space as well as a big Jacuzzi and plenty of space to recline. She also has a stunning, spacious beach club with a bar, a hammam, a TV lounge and a vast array of watersports equipment. Her eight-metre (26ft) Scorpion tender has a breathtaking top speed of 38 knots and two of her three Waverunners are even faster – if you dare, they’ll take you up to 65mph!
She also carries a seven-metre (23ft) RIB, so your group can enjoy two separate watersports activities or excursions at once. The inventory of toys includes SeaBobs, eFoil jet boards, Hobie kayaks, paddleboards, a wakeboard and a surfboard, waterskis and a mono ski, a six-person banana boat, inflatable donuts and towable tubes. High-octane thrills and total relaxation, she’s got it all.
