Whether you’re returning from a beach BBQ or a shopping trip ashore, her gracious lines will bring smiles to the faces of you and your guests. Although CALYPSO was built in 1978, she is far from a floating museum piece. Her last refit was in 2019, and the teak-panelled interior and furnishings have a graceful modern feel, while remaining in keeping with a yacht of this calibre.

On board, most guests spend their time on the sun deck. It’s a wonderful multi-purpose area, featuring exercise equipment – including a Peloton bike, free weights, and yoga mats - a jacuzzi, a large dance floor, an al fresco dining area, and a 120-inch outdoor cinema to enjoy. Whether you’re dancing, dining, riding or relaxing, CALYPSO provides all you need. If you wish to dine with shelter from the sun and any breeze, the main deck al fresco dining area in the cockpit is perfect; side glazing provides a windbreak, while the overhang from the sundeck offers a protected outdoor dining experience. For birthday banquets, you may wish to step into the gorgeous main lounge and celebrate in the privacy of the formal dining area. After dinner, you and your guest can retire to the lounge area or study or head back to the outdoor cinema.

CALYPSO’s guest accommodation is generous too. There’s a full-beam double VIP suite, two double suites, a twin-berth cabin on the lower deck and, on the main deck, the master suite. Like the rest of the yacht, the teak panelling and high quality of craftsmanship stand out. Large picture windows on both sides provide a genuine sense of place.

For quick transfers, CALYPSO has a 12m (39ft) Nor-Tech tender powered by four 350hp outboard engines. However, those looking to make a stylish entrance may opt for the classic-styled Cerubini tender with beautiful varnished brightwork.

There’s something for everyone in CALYPSO’s toy box, too: eFoil boards, SUPs, waverunners, and a host of towable inflatable toys will keep all ages entertained.
