The SL120/A is a 37-metre (121.4ft) flybridge yacht from Sanlorenzo with a separate pilothouse and two main decks of accommodation. The ‘A’ in her model name denotes subtly asymmetric exterior design. Her hull is vacuum-infused with bio resin and core material. She has notably efficient thermal insulation and she’s finished with FSC-certified timber.

The forward half of her sundeck has a hardtop with a flybridge helm up front, dining and bar area amidships, plus open-air lounge seating and sun lounging zones astern. She also has a spacious, mostly shaded aft cockpit on the main deck, configured by default as a sociable lounge. There’s a Portuguese bridge in front of the pilothouse with seating and sunbathing areas, and the foredeck is yet another open-air space for guests with forward-facing seats (or optionally a glass-fronted pool) and more sunpads on the flared, overhanging bow.

The beach club in her stern opens up with fold-down platforms on both sides and a bottom-hinged transom door that extends the stern platform. The beach club stores her tender and jet ski when she’s under way.

Her superstructure on the main deck level is full beam on the port side but there’s an external companionway to starboard. The notably spacious open-plan saloon is wide enough to have lounge and dining areas alongside each other instead of the usual fore-and-aft arrangement. It’s extensively glazed with a fold-down balcony on the starboard side to open up the main saloon and maximise the view through its floor-to-ceiling windows. By default she’s upholstered in sustainable leather.

The galley is forward of the saloon on the starboard side. The owner’s suite in the bow is a full-beam, L-shaped space with study, lounge and vanity areas, a forward-facing super king size bed on the centreline, walk-in closets, bathroom with his-and-hers sinks, and a commanding view looking forward as well as on both sides through large plate glass windows. A door gives direct access to the seats and sunpads on the foredeck.

The guest accommodation on the lower deck consists of four double cabins with en suite bathrooms and ample cupboard space, all located amidships. The crew’s quarters – two twin-bunk rooms and one single, a captain’s cabin and a dinette – are in the bow.

Twin MTU 16V2000M96L diesels propel her to a top speed of 27kts. She cruises at 23kts and has a maximum range of around 1,400nm at a passage speed of 11kts.
