Lurssen
Since 1875, German shipyard Lürssen – now in its fourth generation – has pursued the founding principle of Friedrich Lürssen: ‘Leading in quality and performance.’ From crafting the first internal‑combustion motorboat in 1886 to delivering bespoke superyachts of over 180m, Lürssen has consistently set new benchmarks in yacht building.
Over the years, thousands of vessels have sailed from Lürssen docks – each a unique original and testament to the yard’s custom‑build ethos. Signature milestones include the 180m Azzam, powered by a staggering 94,000 HP, which held the title of world's longest private yacht for years.
Lürssen works hand in hand with clients, designers, and technical advisors to deliver yachts that range from classic and graceful to bold and avant‑garde – yet united by uncompromising quality and innovation.
Today, Lürssen remains globally recognised for its elite craftsmanship, cutting‑edge technology, and ability to deliver custom superyachts, naval ships, and refits, all from its expansive and highly technical German shipyards.
Nobiskrug
In 2025, Lürssen acquired Nobiskrug – a shipyard founded in 1905. Drawing upon its extensive experience in building seagoing vessels, the German shipyard turned to yacht building and completed its inaugural project in 2000 with the 92m TATOOSH. The shipyard is currently being refurbished for future projects.
