Description
Delivered in 1993 by world-renowned yacht builder Feadship-De Vries and now for the first time offered for sale, the 51m, 817 GT motor yacht DOUBLE HAVEN is still today an extraordinary expression of a bespoke designed superyacht.
The design vision and principles behind DOUBLE HAVEN were for her to be a state-of-the-art superyacht capable of crossing any ocean and to be self-reliant, with sufficient fuel, storage and water to be independent of shore services for up to six months. With her tenders, she was to be free to visit the most isolated atols, bays and islands.
Her full beam superstructure maximizes the interior spaces with natural light provided through the large windows designed to blend in nicely in the yacht’s profile.
Glade Johnson, the interior designer of DOUBLE HAVEN adds that she was to be a luxurious private residence, a fully functional business office, an entertainment and watersports center and above all, a guest’s dream.
The graceful exterior lines marry form and function in a creation of excellence. She was to be the best vessel of her type ever built.
Some 250,000 Nautical Miles later, after having extensively explored all corners of our planet, her owner and crew will confirm that DOUBLE HAVEN has met all expectations and more. Her lines have proven to be timeless and her legendary pedigree and meticulous upkeep gives her the strength to continue to give unlimited pleasure to a new owner for many years to come.
