Description
Delivered by the renowned Dutch shipyard Oceanco, DRAAK is a 92.9m expedition-capable superyacht that combines world-class engineering with exceptional volume and versatility. Originally launched as Equanimity and later known as Tranquility, she underwent an extensive transformation in 2025/2026 and now serves as a highly capable support and exploration platform within the Kraken fleet.
Built with a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and Ice Class capabilities, DRAAK was designed for ambitious global cruising. Her impressive 2,951GT volume is complemented by a striking five-deck profile, extensive exterior spaces and oceangoing credentials that include a 5,000-nautical-mile range and a top speed of 18 knots.
The yacht's exterior styling, created by Oceanco in collaboration with Winch Design, balances elegance with purpose. Sweeping deck lines, expansive teak terraces and a commanding presence on the water are enhanced by amenities including a 20-square-metre swimming pool, touch-and-go helipad facilities, generous entertaining areas and extensive tender-handling capabilities. Following her recent refit, DRAAK now features a sophisticated light-grey colour scheme that underscores her modern, expedition-oriented character.
Originally conceived around luxurious guest living, the interiors by Winch Design showcase rich Asian-inspired influences, with wenge, bamboo, marble and gold leaf creating a refined and atmospheric environment. Spacious salons, panoramic dining areas and a magnificent owner's suite spanning more than half of the upper deck exemplify the yacht's remarkable scale and attention to detail.
The recent rebuild significantly enhanced DRAAK's operational capabilities. The former spa and beach club have been converted into a fully equipped dive centre with decompression chamber, while additional accommodation and crew facilities support specialist expedition personnel. Heavy-duty cranes, expanded deck storage and advanced logistics capabilities make her an outstanding platform for exploration, research and support operations.
A multiple award-winning superyacht, DRAAK represents a rare combination of pedigree, innovation and capability. From her pioneering Passenger Yacht Code compliance to her recent evolution into a sophisticated support vessel, she remains one of Oceanco's most remarkable and technically accomplished creations.
