Description

GRAND 38 TRI-DECK is a 38.2m (125.3ft) built by Azimut. Her hull and superstructure is constructed from carbon fibre and GRP, and she is being built by Azimut Benetti. She has a D2P hull designed by Pier Luigi Ausonio Naval Architecture with exterior styling by Alberto Mancini. Her interior was designed by Achille Salvagni Architetti

The sun deck has a wet bar area forward and the option of an upper helm position. There are benches on either side of an outside table, plus sun loungers aft. On the upper deck, there is a forward lounge area with seating sunpads around a jacuzzi and a more seating forward. On the aft upper deck, there is an al fresco formal dining area and lounge seating. Between the upper deck and main deck, there is an aft mezzanine deck with seating – this Mezzanine deck accessed from steps leading from the cockpit on the main deck. The cockpit has forward-facing bench seating that can convert into an al fresco dining area. Aft of the cockpit on the lower deck in the beach club area and fold-down transom.

As GRAND 38 TRI-DECK is construction, there is flexibility in the layout chosen. Designs suggest 10 guests in five cabins or 12 guests in six. Most guest accommodation is on the lower deck. It consists of two double VIP cabins forward of the engine rooms. There are two twin cabins forward. The full-beam owner's cabin is located on the main deck. It has a forward-facing king-sized berth, a lounge area and a full-beam en suite heads with his and hers sinks. Aft of the owner's suite is the galley, foyer and day heads. There is the option of adding a further double VIP suite on the upper deck between the wheelhouse and the sky lounge.

The saloon is aft with J-shaped seating and armchairs. The saloon has access to the cockpit area. The upper deck has the wheelhouse forward. There is a servery with access to the captain's cabin. Further aft is the sky lounge. It has C-shaped seating around a high-low table.

A tender garage with PWC stowage is accessed via a hull door on the starboard side.

Like the other models in this successful series, the GRANDE 38 TRI-DECK offers two engine choices: two x 2400 hp MTU engines which give her a maximum speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of around 20 knots. Alternatively, two x 2,600 hp MTU engines that give her a maximum speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of around 21 knots thanks to her D2P hull.
