Description

The Mangusta 165 Rev is a 50-metre (164ft) high-performance maxi sports yacht with a fast planing hull form, raised pilothouse and next-generation exterior styling by Igor Lobanov that brings the iconic Mangusta look right up to date.

Built in vinylester composite throughout, with sandwich construction in her decks and superstructure, she is expected to weigh in at around 310 tons fully loaded – a significantly lower displacement weight than her predecessor. Beam of just over 9m (30ft) gives a total 499GT of interior volume and her draught is moderate, estimated at 2m (6.7).

Stand-out exterior features include a 60㎡ open-air relaxation and sunbathing zone on the foredeck, where a jacuzzi pool can be fitted; floor-to-ceiling glass in the main deck superstructure with integrated sliding doors and fold-out balconies on both sides of the saloon; and a distinctive, continuous window line in the topsides running aft from foredeck to cockpit. The 36㎡ beach club has a fold-down transom door that extends the bathing platform; and the side-launching garage can accommodate a 6.3m (21ft) tender.

A notably spacious sundeck offers 69㎡ of open-air space up top. The suggested layout features a flybridge helm, dining and bar areas, and a huge expanse of sunpads around a jacuzzi. The part-shaded aft deck below is a similar size with ample space for dining and open-air seating astern.

The interior is arranged to host up to 12 guests in seven cabins with separate quarters for a crew of ten in five cabins. Forward on the main deck, the owner’s suite is a massive 92㎡ with separate lounge and office/studio rooms, huge walk-in closets and his-and-hers bathrooms. Various layout configurations are available. A 76㎡ open-plan saloon, dining area and bar occupies the rest of the main deck interior. Five guest cabins on the lower deck include a full-beam VIP and four large doubles. The crew’s quarters and main galley are forward on the lower deck.

Powered by four MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels each driving a KaMeWa water jet (two S4-71 main jets and two B4-71 boosters), she is designed to deliver a top speed of around 34 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots, with a range of around 650 miles. Twin gyro stabilisers (zero speed and under way) are specified.
