Description
SERENITY is a 2018 model Westport 125 – a 38m (125ft) semi-custom flybridge cruising yacht with a raised pilothouse, built in fibreglass to ABS classification with a semi-displacement hull form. Her naval architecture and exterior styling are by Westport’s in-house design team.
Exterior spaces on board include a hardtop flybridge with full helm controls, a natural stone-topped bar and lounge seating; a mezzanine boat deck with a hot tub and sunpad as well as dedicated stowage and port-side launching crane for a RIB tender; a Portuguese bridge on the foredeck with sunpads and seating; and a main deck aft cockpit set up for outdoor dining. The transom folds down to create a beach club area with access to a day heads and other facilities in the stern.
She has 260GT of interior volume on two main levels with contemporary interior design by Holly Hunt and is configured to host up to eight overnight guests in five cabins.
The main saloon is a large open plan space with a smart, modern feel featuring hardwood flooring, high-gloss wooden buffet and sideboards, a spacious lounge area and an eight-seat stone-topped formal dining table forward under a chandelier. A hallway leads forward from here past the large galley to the full-beam master suite in the bow, which has an aft-facing king size bed on the centreline, built-in sofas port and starboard, and a his-and-hers bathroom.
Down below, she has three large double guest cabins amidships with en suite WCs and showers, plus a fourth cabin that is currently set up as a gym. The crew’s quarters are in the bow, with separate access via the galley.
Twin MTU 16V2000 M96L diesel engines with a combined 5,200hp give a cruising speed of 20 knots and top speed of 25 knots. Seakeeper Model 35 gyro stabilisers and Naiad 425 fin stabilisers are fitted.
