Now offered for charter in sparkling condition with state-of-the-art hotel systems and a bright, chic and soothing new contemporary interior, AKIKO is an excellent choice of charter yacht for a voyage to faraway shores, or simply a relaxing holiday on the water with family or friends. She’s designed to host groups of up to 12 guests on board with a five-cabin layout and a crew of six at your service.
Key features include a luxurious master suite with direct access to the upper aft deck, a very nice VIP suite on the main deck level, an observation lounge on the foredeck, a hardtop sun deck and a main deck arrangement that includes separate lounges for dining and relaxation. She also has an excellent, snug and sheltered open-air lounge on the main deck aft with dining and seating areas, and an extended stern platform with steel safety rails for bathing, boarding and fishing.
The master suite is tucked behind the bridge on the upper deck level with a 270-degree panoramic view facing aft. There’s a desk on one side of the king size bed, design classic easy chairs on the other side, and twin sinks in the spacious en suite bathroom.
The main deck has the galley aft, between the yacht’s outside dining area and inside dining room. It’s a practical arrangement that helps the crew to deliver swift, attentive service. The main deck lounge is up forward and the VIP guest suite – which has an anteroom and a bathtub – is in the bow, where most yachts have their master suites.
The other three guest cabins, all on the lower deck, are a large double in the bow and two twins with extra pullman berths. Each of these has its own private en suite bathroom.
She carries two tenders: a 7.5m (26ft) expedition RIB and a small, agile RIB as a utility boat. Her inventory of watertoys includes four scuba diving sets and a SeaBob underwater scooter, a sea pool for safe bathing from the mothership, a fleet of paddleboards and kayaks, an inflatable tow and a range of fishing gear.
