About MARIE

Classical lines and huge sail power combine to make MARIE an exciting charter yacht with enormous appeal for families.

A characterful vessel with accommodation for eight guests in four cabins, MARIE was custom-built along gentleman's yacht lines by the Dutch shipyard, Vitters. Sophisticated technology is concealed by her striking red and black hull, creating a fast, comfortable sailing yacht for both gentle cruising and regattas. Winner of the 2015 Loro Piana BVI regatta, MARIE masterfully combines thoroughbred racing credentials with the level of luxury that superyacht guests expect.

Bursting with personality, MARIE's light, open-plan interior is comfortable and welcoming, with traditional features including miniature cannons, muskets and a suit of armour recalling the Golden Age of exploration. A split-level lounge is illuminated by large skylights that filter plenty of natural light into the relaxed deck house with its bar and cosy seating area. A more formal setting below features a Steinway baby grand piano and an oval dining table.

The large, sheltered cockpit is a favourite spot for al fresco dining and relaxing at anchor, and the wide decks beyond provide ample opportunities to bask in the sun. The master cabin, with its en suite steam room and deck house study, has its own private cockpit, creating a romantic setting aft for sundowners or an after dinner aperitif. The guest double cabin is equally light and airy and there are two twin cabins (one convertible) each with pullman berths that are popular with children.

The exquisite 3.7m (12ft) launch, MARIETTA, is housed on board. This 1910 Mylne-designed sailing dinghy with an electric motor is perfect for exploring quiet bays or teaching children to sail. The young and the mischievous will enjoy playing 'pirates' and firing a salute from MARIE's fully operational cannons. Others will love the crow's nest lift that hoists two guests 37.5m (123ft) up the main mast for spectacular views.

Her soaring masts were designed to carry a huge 3,300sqm (33,500sqft) press of sail, which can smoothly propel this luxury yacht to over 18 knots. The latest hybrid and carbon fibre technology ensures that she is agile and, most importantly, safe.

MARIE is a magical combination of traditional styling and modern technology, served by a dedicated crew who are as passionate about service as they are about sailing.
