A long range ocean-going yacht with great potential for extended voyaging, she’s equally suitable for relaxed, short-distance cruising along the coast where her elegant silhouette and graceful presence will elicit admiring glances wherever you decide to drop anchor. She’s freshly refurbished in a recent refit but also has the distinction – increasingly rare among large classic motor yachts – of retaining her original layout.
There’s plenty of outside deck space on three different levels, from the seats and day beds on the open sundeck to the semi-enclosed main deck aft with a big teak table for informal al fresco dining. The expansive upper aft deck is an ideal place to stage a private party or hold a large family gathering. Elegant covered companionways with slanted mullions and traditional teak handrails link the large exterior guest spaces, and there are sheltered, intimate nooks too – she offers a wide variety of settings to suit your mood.
Interior highlights include a splendid formal dining room with classic nautical wood panelling, a gym with big windows and exercise machines, a sit-up bar with a clubby atmosphere, several areas for games and activities, a snug sitting room next to the master cabin and a comfortable, sociable main deck lounge.
Her tender deserves a special mention – it’s a seven-metre (24ft) high-performance powerboat with 3,000 horsepower and an exhilarating top speed of 40 knots. There’s also a jet ski or two and a high-spec water scooter, plus a canoe to go exploring in a tranquil, sheltered bay.
