Burgess New Construction powers ahead in 2019

It's been a big year so far for Burgess New Construction with successful deliveries of five new yachts of 55m and over, totalling almost 400m in length.

This marks 53 projects delivered by Burgess New Construction since the creation of the company in 2008, with a combined length of 3,670.3m and an average length of 70m. In that time, its naval architects, technical project managers and engineers have built yachts in 23 shipyards across three continents.

BRAVO EUGENIA, a 109m (357.6ft), is the second over 100m delivered in the last two years in collaboration with Oceanco. The Dutch yard described her as ‘a prime example of Oceanco’s new wave of forward-thinking yachts’ and she is the first to feature a LIFE (Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel efficient, Eco friendly) design. She features exteriors by Nuvolari Lenard and interiors by Reymond Langton.

LADY S is 93m (305ft) and was delivered in 2019 by Feadship, with interior by Reymond Langton and exterior by Michael Leach. One of the biggest challenges on LADY S was building the first ever IMAX-certified cinema on board any yacht ever. The result is quite stunning.

B3 is a 57m (187ft) yacht delivered by Damen with the build project managed by Burgess New Construction. She has huge tender and toy-carrying capacity and her four main engines give her a top speed of 20kn and 5,000nm range.

The 55m (180.4ft) PAPA was delivered by Amels in 2019 and is charter-managed by Burgess. The exterior was styled by Tim Heywood Design and the interior was designed by Laura Sessa.

GALVAS is the latest Burgess New Construction project delivered in collaboration with Heesen, with a second under construction. The 56m (183.7ft) yacht has exteriors by H2 Yacht Design and her Reymond Langton interiors are peppered throughout with custom artworks by DKT.
