Behind the lens: How Burgess captures the spirit of the sea
Every image begins long before the camera starts rolling. Months of planning go into each shoot, from scouting the perfect locations to coordinating with captains and crew. These are long days – early sunrises, late sunsets – when every ray of light and every ripple of water can make a difference.
A large-scale Burgess photoshoot usually involves a small production team: photographers, videographers, models, stylists, and our own experienced marketing crew, all working in sync to capture the spirit of the yacht. Thousands of frames are taken, but only a select few – often fewer than 100 – make the final cut.
