Wing is Malaysian-born Chinese, with longstanding family connections to both yachting and motorsport. He spent much of his youth aboard motor and sailing yachts across Asia and Oceania, alongside a motorsport career that saw him compete in the World Karting Championships, Formula 4, Formula Renault and Formula 3 across Asia and Europe. He also tested a Williams Formula 1 car.

After graduating from Bayes Business School in London, Wing held roles at technology companies Shopee and Grab before joining Amazon in London, where he worked in business development and led pan-European operations. He also built a successful sports equipment business, gaining experience in international trade, client relationships and digital marketing.

Since joining Burgess in late 2024, Wing has completed multiple yacht transactions. As part of Burgess' Asia team, he specialises in the sub-500 GT superyacht market, drawing on his international business experience and firsthand understanding of yacht ownership.
