German-born and multilingual in French and English, Britta grew up and completed her academic career in Germany. Following her first professional experience in international trade, Britta decided to move abroad before eventually settling in France. Although she discovered the superyacht industry by coincidence, she immediately knew that this would be her future.

Britta’s foray into the yachting world began in the Brokerage department of Camper & Nicholsons in 2003, before transitioning into Charter Management. Her next move was at the invitation of Burgess in 2012 where she remains as respected and highly qualified member of the Charter Management team. With a commitment to excellence and effective communication, owners appreciate Britta’s responsive nature, efficient marketing ideas and constant effort to achieve the best negotiation.

In her role at Burgess, Britta manages six yachts spanning 40m all the way up to 91.4m located across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Dubai. Of the yachts she manages, BATON ROUGE is a standout, having been in the Burgess fleet since her launch in 2010, with Britta being her charter manager since 2014.

In her free time, Britta’s passion is the mountains – skiing in the winter and hiking and biking in the summer. She also loves travelling with her family and dogs in a camper van.
