A native of the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Liz is an outdoors enthusiast who thrives on connecting with others and exploring the natural world.

With over a decade of experience in the service industry, Liz honed her skills in providing exceptional customer experiences. She then pivoted from land-based service to the sea, joining the crew of a 92ft sailboat in 2016 where she embarked on a year-long adventure that included crossing the Atlantic from Florida to Greece, where she then stayed for a year.

In 2017, Liz brought her unique blend of hospitality expertise and yachting experience to Burgess, where she has continued to grow and thrive within the Charter Management team. As a skilled negotiator with a keen market insight, Elizabeth delivers tailored support to owners and captains, ensuring seamless and successful charter experiences for all.

Throughout her career, she’s managed yachts all over the globe: Florida, New England, Caribbean, Galapagos, Thailand, France, Croatia, and Scotland, to name a few. Reflecting on her time so far at Burgess, a particular highlight for Liz was being able to increase the number of charter days for one of her yachts from just seven in one year to 43 days the following year. ‘By applying a fresh approach to marketing, alongside strong strategy and relationship-building, we were able to create meaningful new business. That’s exactly what we strive to achieve.’
