Max joined Burgess in 2022. As business manager for Charter, Max connects the Retail Charter and Charter Management teams, providing regular reporting and statistical analysis to inform departmental strategy and new business initiatives. He brings to the Charter team a wealth of wide-ranging commercial experience.

Prior to joining Burgess, he spent several years working as an analyst for a leading shipbroking company in London before entering the yachting industry in 2016, working as a sales director for a superyacht wine supplier.

Outside of work, Max’s main passions are blues and jazz music (he is a keen blues guitarist) and wine – particularly Burgundy and Barolo.
