ANTARA is a 46.3m (151.9ft) MCA-compliant motor sailing ketch designed and built by the renowned Perini Navi shipyard. While initially launched in 1991 ANTARA has benefitted from comprehensive refits in 2017, 2019 and 2023 in which nearly every aspect of her machinery, interior and exterior was upgraded.
The flybridge is large and open with lounge seating port and starboard behind the helm station, a staircase spiralling around the mizzen mast and a hot tub aft surrounded by sunpads. The aft cockpit is shaded by the overhang and features a bar forward, informal lounge with armchairs around a coffee table and open-air dining aft featuring a curved banquette aft.
Steps either side lead up to the main deck aft where a new swim platform extends from the transom for swimming or access to the tender.
The interior main deck is bright and cosy and divided into the forward dining/bar area and the formal saloon aft, separated by a raised pilothouse. Large windows allow ambient light into the entire main deck. The saloon has two large sofas and several armchairs around a large square coffee table. The forward wall has a 50in TV hidden behind retractable artwork. iPads control the surround sound and Crestron controlled AV systems throughout the yacht.
ANTARA can accommodate 10 guests in four satin-finished teak staterooms, all en suite. The full-beam owner’s suite has a king-sized double berth, his-and-hers basins, bath and new steam shower, a large office area and cleverly concealed private gym with a stationary bike and weights. There is a bulkhead-mounted TV and a drinks refrigerator.
The VIP stateroom has a queen-sized double berth, en suite in Italian carrara marble with shower room. Two twin cabins have extra-large berths and all staterooms are newly redecorated with Italian linens and marble.
ANTARA is an accomplished sailing vessel with a host of podium finishes at various regattas including the St Barths Bucket, Palma, Superyacht Cup, and Perini Navi Cup. She is commercially compliant with a strong charter history.
