Description

The 90m (295.2ft) LUNA has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure built to Lloyd’s classification and MCA compliance, and she was delivered to global acclaim in 2018 by Oceanco. She won six awards: two World Superyacht Awards including Motor Yacht of the Year, and two Monaco Yacht Show Awards, one of which was Finest New Yacht.

This is a yacht of unequalled pedigree. The superyacht industry is not easily impressed but she garnered universal approval. Lightly used and refitted in 2024, she presents in mint condition.

Her exterior, featuring almost 400sqm (4,300sqft) of glazing, is by Florida-based Luiz De Basto Design, whose brief was to rip up the rule book and deliver something truly original. She offers infinity views through glass walls and has balconies on upper and owner’s decks to give guests the wind-in-the-hair experience.

Her contemporary interiors, earth-toned and inspired by nature, are the creative vision of Nuvolari & Lenard. The studio’s inspired design includes an elevator serving lower to owner’s decks, around which winds a spiral staircase with nature-themed bas relief in monotones, using light to bring surfaces to life.

This Arcadian theme echoes down the passageways and into the guest suites, surrounding guests with Mother Nature whether they are moving around within or gazing at the endless horizons. The connection with nature is also evident in the lower deck lobby’s sea terrace.

Key features include an upper deck aft counter-current pool with waterfall, helipads on the aft sun deck and forward upper deck and a lower deck beach club with bar and dive centre. From there steps lead up to a main deck wellness centre with gym, sauna, steam room, massage and treatment rooms.

She welcomes 14 guests in seven suites. Six double cabins on the main deck include two VIP suites. The owner’s suite is aft facing on a private deck and overlooks a spacious terrace with lounge seating and balconies either side. The key feature is a kidney bean-shaped daybed that rotates to deliver the desired view.

Moving forward there is a huge bathroom with feature bathtub and a similarly sized dressing room. Forward of the elevator lobby is a private observation lounge with sliding glass doors that lead to a stone-paved terrace with a jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads. She also sleeps up to 31 crew.

As well as a pool, the upper deck has open-air dining with extensive sliding glass screens to keep the elements at bay. Inside there is a sky lounge bar and a TV saloon. The main deck has convivial lounge seating at its centre with formal dining forward and a more intimate lounge and bar aft.

Twin 4,828hp MTU diesel engines give her a top speed of 18.5 knots and a range of 8,300nm at her passage sped of 13.5 knots. Two sets of Quantum XT stabilisers ensure comfort at all times. Two 10.5m (34.4ft) custom Hodgdon tenders stow behind lower deck shell doors alongside a huge array of toys.
