Description

The 50m (164ft) MEIRA is a long-keel motor sailor built by Neta Marine in 2017. She is of steel construction and has guest areas spanning all four decks. She offers vast exterior space for guests with open and shaded zones. Her interior and exterior were designed by Evan K. Marshall and she has a gross tonnage of 550GT. She was built to RINA 100 – A-1.1-“Y” classification.

The decks on MEIRA offer space in abundance. Uppermost is the sundeck. It features a forward helm position, an al fresco lounge, a jacuzzi and a wet bar area as well as freestanding sun loungers. Steps on the port aft deck lead to the upper deck. Here, there is a shaded lounge with a TV and a formal dining area opposite. To the rear is a wet bar area. Moving out from beneath the shade of the sun deck overhang, one finds a full-beam al fresco lounge with bench seating and coffee tables. A step up to the aft deck and there are sunpads aplenty. On the main deck, below, there is a vast sunpad taking up the entire aft deck. Moving forward, beneath the overhand of the deck above, there is a forward-facing semi-circular bench seat and another formal dining area, further forwards is an al fresco lounge and TV area.

MEIRA can accommodate 12 guests in six cabins. Aft, one finds two double VIP suites. These feature walk-in wardrobes, sofa seating, a desk and en suite facilities. Forward of the engine room, there are two twin/double convertible suites, again with sofa seating and en suite bathroom. Towards the bow in another double VIP suite with a lounge area, desk, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with his and hers sinks. Between the forward guest cabins are a massage and treatment room (starboard) and a sauna (port). On the main deck, the owner's suite is forward. It has a forward-facing centreline king-sized berth with a lounge area to port and a desk to starboard. Forwards, there are separate bathrooms accessed via individual dressing rooms. Moving aft from the owner's suite, one first enters the lobby then the main saloon. Here, there is a formal dining area with seating for 12 guests and a lounge area.

She has tender and toy stowage on her foredeck. She has two tenders (140hp and 90hp) PWC, SeaBobs and kayaks. She also has an inflatable waterslide from the upper deck.

MEIRA is powered by a twin Mitsubishi S12A2MPTK V12 1,040hp engines these give her a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots. She has a cruising range of 850nm.
