MOON SAND TOO is a 33.9m (111.2ft) motor yacht of all-aluminium construction, built to Bureau Veritas classification by the legendary Dutch shipyard Feadship, De Vries and delivered in 2016. Her striking contemporary exterior lines and naval architecture are by De Voogt and her interior design is by Bannenberg & Rowell. In terms of pedigree, it doesn't get any better than that.
She was the first of Feadship's Lagoon Cruiser Series of yachts and features an exceptional use of glass, transforming both her appearance and the guest experience inside. Aluminium construction gives her both strength and light weight and her shallow draft of 1.8m (5.9ft) expands her cruising possibilities in destinations like Florida, The Bahamas and much of South East Asia.
Her interior volume of 262GT, almost 25 percent more than one might expect of a yacht in the 30-35m range, has been designed to optimise guest enjoyment. A large sun deck has a lounge forward shaded by the hardtop as well as a bar and BBQ, shaded dining for up to 16 guests and a versatile space aft for exercise equipment, yoga, entertainment or just stretching out on sun loungers.
Steps lead down to the main deck aft where there is banquette seating and occasional chairs around an adjustable height table, presenting a second open-air dining option. Steps lead down to the swim platform and tender and watertoys garage, which holds a 5.6m Pascoe tender and a Seadoo Spark jet bike. On the foredeck guest area which is uniquely accessed via a door on the Sun Deck to provide direct access to this area with open deck space and built-in recessed sunpads forward with adjustable headrests.
Inside there are spectacular views through the extensive glass. There is an L-shaped custom Pollaro sofa port aft opposite café seating to starboard and a formal dining area forward. Off the lobby there is a dayhead and forward is the full-beam owner's suite with en suite shower and bath and a walk-in wardrobe. Accommodation for eight guests in four cabins is completed by a full-beam VIP double guest suite with walk-in wardrobe, a double cabin and a twin cabin on the lower deck, all en suite.
Twin 1,800hp MTU diesel engines give her spirited performance with a 16 knots cruising speed. This is an entirely northern European Feadship, always impeccably maintained and presenting in excellent order. Inspection is highly recommended.
