MY STAR Sailing yacht for sale

MY STAR is a 35.1m (115.2ft) sailing sloop that was built by Alloy Yachts in 1994. She is of aluminium construction and benefited from a rebuild during 2014-15, her most recent refit was in 2019. In 2017 she received a technical and cosmetic upgrade, while in 2019 she underwent a full technical refit. This included a full engine, mast and standing rigging survey and service and removal and renewal of her teak decks. Her naval architecture, interior, and exterior design are from Dubois Naval Architects. She is MCA compliant.

On her aft deck MY STAR has a sunbathing area and ‘chaise lounge’ seating, that can be concealed when not required. The foredeck and above the coachroof offer plenty of space for sun lounging. From the aft deck, moving forward between the twin helm positions, there is the guest cockpit that is sheltered by a hardtop – the area can also be enclosed for more protection. Here one finds bench seating on each side. To starboard, a table creates an al fresco dining area.

From the cockpit, guests enter MY STAR’s upper saloon. This area offers panoramic views from the deck saloon space. By the companionway, to port, there is a wet bar, while to starboard is the interior formal dining area. Forward of this area is the interior helm station. Steps, forward, lead to the full-beam lower saloon. There is L-shaped sofa seating on each side. The seating to starboard is closest to the aft-facing TV. Steps forward lead to the galley, crew mess and accommodation. Stairs to the rear lead to the guest accommodation. MY STAR can accommodate eight guests in four cabins. The full-beam owner's suite is aft, it has a central aft-facing island berth and sofa seating to port. Ahead and to starboard is the en suite heads with separate shower compartments. Moving forwards there is an en suite twin bunk cabin to port, and ahead of this is a double VIP suite, and opposite that is a twin-berth cabin. All guest cabins have en suite facilities with separate shower compartments.

MY STAR has a Williams 435 SportJet, two inflatable kayaks, dive equipment and a dive compressor. She has a fold-down transom for easier access from the water or dock.

MY STAR is powered by a single 540hp Lugger diesel engine, giving her a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 13 knots. She has one-piece 3Di Ocean sails from North Sails (mainsail, genoa and staysail), new in 2019.
