Description

NAMASTE 8 is a 40m (131.2ft) hardtop trideck yacht with a fast planing hull form and distinctive contemporary styling. She was designed and built in fibreglass by Tamsen Yachts, Turkey, in 2008 to RINA classification and had a major refit in 2017.

Exterior spaces on board include an upper deck aft with sit-up bar, lounge seating and plenty of sunlounging space; a large jacuzzi and Portuguese bridge on the foredeck; and a main deck aft lounge set up for al fresco dining with sunpads on an elevated platform astern.

Thanks to her wide beam and innovative shape, NAMASTE 8 is notably spacious for her size with 358GT of interior volume. She is configured to host up to 12 guests on board in five cabins and fitted out like a high-end boutique hotel with interior design by Julia Tamsen and Loro Piana.

The sun deck has an elegant sky lounge with dining and seating areas and 360-degree views. Its standout features are the huge opening sunroof overhead and glass floor panels which serve as skylights for the main saloon below. Forward and down half a level is the separate pilothouse with a captain’s cabin adjacent.

The main deck saloon is a very large space with a bar and four seating areas. Its rear doors can be completely opened to create a seamless indoor-outdoor space with the lounge aft. The yacht’s main galley is forward on the port-hand side with a hallway leading to the master suite to starboard.

The master suite comprises a luxurious full beam cabin with a king sized bed on the centreline, sofas and vanity table port and starboard, huge walk in wardrobes, a very large en suite bathroom with full size bath, and entry through a separate study.

A spiral staircase amidships on the main deck leads down to the lower deck guest accommodation, where the lobby has a self-service bar for guests. There are four double cabins here, two of which have additional pullman berths. The separate crew accommodation in the bow includes a mess room and bunk rooms for seven crew.

Her inventory of tenders and toys includes an 8.3m Hunton RIB chase tender with 300hp and a 3.5m RIB with 20hp that is carried in the transom garage with other small craft. There’s also a SeaBob, two Jetsurfs and a wide range of other watertoys.

Twin 2,400hp MTU M93 diesel engines give a top speed of 16 knots and a range of around 1,200nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots. Zero speed stabilisers are fitted.
