Out of the ordinary and proud of it, MARTITA is a 22m (72ft) yacht with some excellent cruising innovations. For example her ‘cab forward’ superstructure puts the wheelhouse right up in the bow, giving a lot more space to the main deck social areas. The extended main deck aft is another state-of-the-art feature, a huge inside-outside living space with a beach club feel.

Built in 2022 by the future-focused Palumbo shipyard, MARTITA is designed to host groups of up to eight overnight guests on board, in a four-cabin layout. Designed with a hedonistic spirit, she is a superb party boat with a DJ system, powered speakers and a high-end sound system. Brand new exterior upholstery has recently been fitted throughout.

She’s a comfortable boat under way and at anchor, thanks to the gyro stabiliser that smooths her motion on the water. Her maximum speed of 21 knots gives an extended cruising range and the shallow draught of her hull has another practical benefit – you can anchor much closer to shore than most other yachts, claiming the best spot in many anchorages.

The sun deck has full-beam sun pad cushions up front, with windbreak screens for shelter. There’s sociable lounge seating up here too – it’s an excellent place to relax en route from one destination to the next. Awnings rigged on poles provide ample shade when required.

The main deck aft is an impressive social space. Its upper level has a stylish bar and a 10-seat dining table in deep, cool shade. Moving aft, two steps down, is a grand C-shape sofa. This faces astern, where a six-metre wide day bed is semi-suspended above the large bathing platform.

Another neat feature is the open-style galley, which can be fully enclosed if desired. The main deck lounge is a bright, cosy living room with an L-shape of sofas and good sea views through big windows.

All guest cabins are on the lower deck. The master suite is a full-beam cabin with a sofa on one side and a modern, marble-clad en suite bathroom. There’s also a VIP double which has a king size island bed and a pair of twin-bed cabins, all of which have their own private, contemporary style en suite bathroom.

She carries a jet RIB tender plus a wakeboard and several inflatable tows, a paddleboard and two sea scooters.
