Louise has a long history at Burgess, having originally joined the company in 2001 after graduating from Newcastle University, managing a range of high-profile yachts including SEANNA, ALTITUDE, SLIPSTREAM, SILVER DREAM, TWIZZLE, LIONSHARE, and BIG D. After four years in London, she moved to Monaco to support the growth of the charter management which she sees as a particular highlight – especially the opportunity to give a guided tour to the Red Arrows after their aerobatic display at the Monaco Yacht Show.

Louise returned to Burgess’ London office in 2008 before taking a career break in 2013 to focus on family, later spending five years at a UK-based company managing both retail and charter management activities.

She rejoined the Burgess Charter Management team in 2025, jumping straight back in where she left off and bringing her extensive industry experience back to the company. The six yachts she manages allows her to have a varied day-to-day – they range from 44m up to 74m – but the number is low enough that she can dedicate ample time to each owner and their vessel. While most of her charter yachts have been based in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, SILVER DREAM spent two winters in the Indian Ocean which gave Louise a deeper understand of the region.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys countryside walks with her dog, skiing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
