Description
Designed by Dubois Naval Architects with impeccable build quality by Royal Huisman Shipyard and interior styling by Rick Baker Ltd. NGONI was created for a knowledgeable sailing yachtsman who wanted a “fast and furious”, comfortable and luxurious, performance sailing yacht.
Royal Huisman Shipyard delivered superb quality build combining a host of innovative engineering solutions to optimize her slender and powerful design characteristics. The reverse sheer is immediately noticeable and a trademark of NGONI
Owner’s and guest accommodation is accessed via a curving staircase from the deckhouse top the guest lobby area. There is a day head in this lobby area opposite the base of the stairs. A superbly appointed twin guest cabin with spacious bathroom to port and a double guest cabin with centred queen berth and Japanese bath to starboard. Both staterooms feature high quality exotic veneers, marbles and resin finishes. Large rectangular ports offer natural lighting.
The owners’ suite, aft, includes a full beam stateroom with bespoke built in furniture, twin doors to a large bathroom aft with twin sinks, tub and a shower room. A king bed on centerline has a settee and vanity/bureau on either side. The suite includes a self contained private office forward to port and fully equipped glass enclosed gym to starboard. The owner’s areas can be accessed from forward or aft via a deck companionway.
NGONI is a most uniquely well designed and executed performance sailing yacht for a private and discerning owner. This said if additional guest accommodations are needed, there is a concept drawing from the builder at Royal Huisman offering a 4th guest cabin with bathroom in place of the gym area.
